  the food seemed like it was presented by a toddler as it looked terrible and looked like they tried to make the food as fast as possible to get it out. the hot wings weren't tossed with hot sauce like we ordered. This is also the first restaurant that ive been to that actually charges extra for mayonnaise which is crazy. the waitress was very rude and kept giving dirty looks and was obviously in a very negative attitude. the only upside is we got refill 5min after they were empty.

  Barely dressed waitress who swore, had to be asked for cutlery and napkins, and was just ask around unprofessional. The restaurant was clearly understaffed. My sandwich was good but my yam fries were very burnt (not worth having to pay the full $4.50, the full price of a side of yam fries, instead of just paying a small upgrade price from the regular price of the meal). Not a place I'll ever go back to. Pricey and unprofessional.

  A group of us from Lethbridge, were working in Brooks for a while. Unfortunately we came across Gus's towards the end of our hitch. Wish we would have found it sooner. Best home style cooking and service in Brooks. Working out of town we tried almost every restaurant in Brooks and nothing quite compared to the service and quality we recieved here. The waitress in the lounge tended to numerous tables on wing night without any mistakes. She was helpful, friendly and on top of everything. Every visit we noticed that the restaurant seemed sort of empty for it's size. We hope this restaurant does well and that people come across this establishment and recieve the same service and quality food that we did. Don't listen to the negative reviews. Go find out for yourself. This place is definitely worth a visit or multiple for that matter! Thanks for everything during our stay! Best regards, The Electricians

  Great food. Great deal on pizza. Best deep fried pickles in Alberta. Rustic atmosphere. Very good service. Definitely coming back here.
